Welcome to The Foundher Table. By participating in our events, using our services, registering as a member, or engaging with our community, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Agreement
These Terms & Conditions apply to all attendees, members, users, and participants of The Foundher Table, including:
- In-person events, dinners, and networking sessions
- Online events, webinars, and digital platforms
- Membership programs and subscription services
- Community platforms, forums, or discussion groups
By booking, registering, or attending, you confirm that you accept and agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
Participation is limited to individuals aged 18 or over. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Event & Service Booking
Non-refundable: All sales, fees, and event bookings are generally non-refundable.
Discretionary Refunds: In exceptional circumstances, a refund may be offered at the sole discretion of The Foundher Table. Requests must be made in writing to thefoundhertable@gmail.com.
Event Changes: If an event is cancelled or significantly altered, participants will be offered a full refund or credit toward a future event.
Payment Terms: Payment is required at the time of booking.
4. Code of Conduct
Participants must:
- Treat all attendees, speakers, and organisers with respect
- Avoid discriminatory, harassing, or disruptive behavior
- Respect venues and others' property
- Follow health, safety, and security instructions
Zero-Tolerance: The Foundher Table may remove participants from events or community spaces without refund for breaches of this Code of Conduct.
5. Intellectual Property & Brand Use
All content, materials, and branding (logos, images, videos, written content) are owned by The Foundher Table or its licensors.
You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
If you wish to use any of our brand, content, or materials, you must notify us and obtain approval in writing before use.
6. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect personal information to manage registrations, communicate with you, and deliver services.
We comply with:
- EU GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679)
- Finland Data Protection Act 1050/2018
- UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 for UK participants
You have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to request data portability. To exercise your rights or file a complaint, contact thefoundhertable@gmail.com.
7. Liability & Indemnity
Attendance is at your own risk. The Foundher Table is not liable for personal injury, property loss, or other damages except where caused by proven negligence.
We do not guarantee business outcomes, professional advancement, or specific results from participation.
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Foundher Table from any claims arising from their actions or misuse of services.
8. Media & Photography
By attending events, you consent to photos, videos, or other media being captured and used for marketing or promotional purposes.
Inform us in advance if you do not wish to be recorded. Full exclusion from media cannot be guaranteed.
9. Force Majeure
The Foundher Table is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, technical failures, or pandemics.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Finland. UK participants acknowledge that UK law may also apply where relevant. Disputes will be subject to the appropriate jurisdiction.
